Website glitch

Hey Vanilla with all the 3.95 fee's you charge can't you make a website that works correctly? Had to register my card online and enter my zip so that I could spend it online or at a gas pump and it kept telling me that my zipcode was invalid. I'm assuming this is because my zipcode begins with 0 but still that is no excuse. It's not the biggest deal but annoying to have to call and do it all over again. Thought maybe if I post this they will see it and fix it so my fellow Mass and CT people can register their cards online!

100 scam

Bought a 100 vanilla prepaid card yesterday. guy gives me slip says cards activated.

went to use it. nope doesn't work. called vanilla customer service after i explain the situation and after the bs of sending in docs of proof i bought etc. they now say gonna take 30 days to send me a new card with my 100 bucks on it.

I can get a fn bike from amazon delivered to my door within a day yet these *** need 30 days to send me a fn card!

BIGGEST scam out there!! Contrite *** keep apologizing, u should fn apologize u POS cause u working for a scamming POS company!

Vanilla Visa and Walgreens should be shut down!!!!!

I purchased a Vanilla Visa more than 17 days ago and I still do not have my money. I purchased it at Walgreens . I Ioaded $395.00 + a $4.95 activation fee. I guess the activation they were talking about was my anger. I expressed on MANY occasions that the I desperately needed my money to pay my car payment and cell phone bill. I have been without my phone all this time and my car has been repossessed!!!!! I will NEVER purchase their products again and NEVER shop at Walgreens. I STRONGLY suggest you do the same. Nobody needs to endure this fraudulent behavior.

Stay Away

The Company I work for gave me a Vanilla Visa Reward Card valued at $450 on July 15. I registered the card online with Vanilla Reward only a few days later.The footnote on the card stated they would charge $2.50 service fee per month in the 7 month. On October 31 when I went to use the remaining balance on the October 19th I learned that Vanilla Visa Reward Card had charged me $5.00 in fees ($2.50 on Sept 19 & $2.50 Oct 19). My math would indicate I was far away from month 7, so why did I lose $5.00? My suggesting to companies is to don't waste your money paying, I assume upfront services fees, and then this strange math with the recipient is ridiculous. Instead just write a check and give it to your employee.

My husband and i recieved a vanilla visa for 150 as a wedding gift. When i went to use it in a store it said declined. So i then call the number on the backnof the card and told me there was nothing they could do. The card was not activated and since i couldnt get the recipt there was nothing they could do ... so ny guest that spent 150 to give to us as a gift payed for nothing. I have hurd of other complaints like this to. This company is nothing but a scam

I wanted something online so I went to cvs and got a vanilla gift card and got 20 bucks on it. Went on and got something I had to preorder just to get it.

So that means I had to wait a few weeks and I was like okay that's fine because ITS LIMITED EDITION and when it finally came out a *** day later it said "we're sorry we had to cancel your order" and I was like okay bet!

So I check my amount on that one website where you can check ur amount and how much you wasted. Under the transaction log it said target and under that it said pending but since they cancelled it THEY HAVENT PUT MY MONEY BACK IN WTF DUDE I GOT SO PISSED BECAUSE IT WAS A SHAWN MENDES SIGNED CD AND UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Vanilla Visa - Taking my $$$

(THIS IS THE LETTER I SUBMITTED TO MY STATE'S ATTORNEY GENERAL OFFICE). I also plan on filing a complaint with the BBB.

My father in law purchased a Vanilla Visa gift card for me at CVS for my birthday. Upon trying to use the card it was declined. I then called the the number on the card and spoke to a representative by the name of Essence and her supervisor. They informed me that the card had not been properly activated and that they would require some information and a few days to figure out what is happening. They gave me an email to send in the info (consumed@***.com). This email does not work. All correspondence sent to them is rejected. When I call and tell them about it they flat out deny that the email is not working and tell me I'll have to fax it in. Who has a fax at home any more? This company is ripping people off left and right. A simple google search will find 1000's of complaints similar to mine.

Please let me know what can be done to stop this from happening to other people. I am a NICU nurse that takes great pride in helping people and I hate getting taken advantage of. My poor father-in-law feels like crap. He feels violated and he should. If he had to deal with Incomm's customer service for the Vanilla Visa cards he'd feel even worse.The number for Vanilla Visa is 1-80*-571-****. I have a case number with them regarding this issue. I have no faith in their customer service team to resolve this matter. I also contacted CVS and they are looking into it as well. Please let me know if any thing can be done about this or if my assistance regarding this matter will be needed.

I have same situation too I bought a card in Walmart 100 is not activated then they refused and said I had to call the company they said they look into it I think his name is Arnold he says investigated it till now I don't know if this real or fake what the heck they are doing its waste of money. Everyone is a scammer. I need my money back.

Same thing JUST happened to me! Had them for years!!

Then all of a sudden I was just declined then, I had to call and find out! Wtf! They want color copies of my DL, SS, & proof of income!! I do not feel comfortable giving them that AT ALL!!

They sent NO formal letter or NOTHING!! I want to cancel the card and they won't release my money.

That's stealing!! They won't even say why...

Vanilla VISA stole $200 from me

I bought a vanilla visa card at CVS and loaded $200 on it to pay a bill online. the clerk assured me that I could use it immediately to pay. I tried to use the card, it does not work. Vanilla asked me to verify my info, I did so. they then told me that I was not me, and asked for me to send them a ridiculous amount of paperwork that I don't have access to prove that its really me that is trying to spend the money that I JUST loaded on here. Then, I'm on the phone with the rep from Vanilla and he has the nerve to tell me "sorry, there's nothing we can do about your $200." At least if I'd lit $200 on fire I'd get the warmth from it

REFUND PROCESS NEEDS REVISION!!

I purchased a car stereo online from best buy not realizing that best buy did not offer multiple payment methods. I got the refund for the car stereo and all the parts right away, but a week later I am still waiting for the refund to process for the installation.

Best Buy sent a cancellation order the day after the order was sent electronically. I talked to best buy and they said it might take 3-5 business days to show up. I called Best Buy when the money was still not returned on the 5th day and they said that is when they told me they had sent the cancellation order to visa on day 1. I then Called this company, and their customer service representative said that even if they receive a cancellation order, they still keep the funds available to the business for a FULL 7 DAYS.

I had an authorization code from best buy to cancel the order over the phone, and the customer service representative said they do not do that either and I just have to wait the 7 days and on day 8 the money will be ready. WHEN IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN READY ON DAY 2!!! The other portion of the money from the original transaction was returned right away to the card, but the installation was billed to a different location.

I have purchased visa gift cards for others as presents.

I am not sure if I will do that again. I may even request not to receive any visa cards from anyone in the future unless I get a response from Visa.
